MPESB has announced a total of 200 vacancies for the post of Patwari, exclusively reserved for Divyang candidates across the districts of Madhya Pradesh. Of these, 94 posts are reserved for candidates with hearing impairment (EH), 45 posts for candidates with locomotor disability (LD), and 61 posts for candidates with multiple disabilities/autism/intellectual disability (MD). MPESB Patwari Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who wish to apply for the Patwari post must fulfil the following eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, educational qualification, and age limit.

  • Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent/local resident (domicile) of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • CPCT Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) Score Card, including Hindi Typing and Computer Proficiency. Those who have not cleared CPCT at the time of selection must clear it within 3 years of their probation period, failing which their appointment will be cancelled.
  • Disability Certificate: Candidates must hold a valid disability certificate issued by a competent authority under the relevant Divyang (PwD) category.
  • Live Registration: Candidates must have live registration with the Madhya Pradesh Employment Exchange.

Age Limit

The age of candidates will be calculated as on 1st January 2026. For this special Divyang recruitment, the age limit for permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh is 18 to 45 years. In no case will the maximum age limit exceed 45 years, even after including all applicable relaxations, except for specific categories such as contractual employees as defined in the rulebook.
