How to Apply for DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026?
DGQA Recruitment 2026 does not accept online applications. The steps to apply offline are given below.
- Download the notification and take a printout of the application format (Appendix ‘A’) and the relevant admit card format (Appendix ‘B’ for Technician Semi Skilled, or Appendix ‘C’ for Technician Skilled).
- Fill the application in Block Letters on A4 size paper, in English.
- Affix a recent self-attested passport-size photograph on the application form and on both admit card copies.
- Attach self-attested copies of educational/technical qualification and experience certificates, date of birth certificate, and caste certificate (if applicable).
- Enclose one self-addressed envelope (30 cm x 12 cm) affixed with a postal stamp of ₹55/-.
- Attach a self-attested copy of the Aadhaar Card.
- Superscribe the envelope clearly as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [Technician (Semi Skilled)/Technician (Skilled)] and CATEGORY [SC/ST/OBC/UR]”.
- Send the complete application only by Registered or Speed Post to: Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Systems), DGQA Technical Complex, Manovikas Nagar P.O., Secunderabad-500009.

DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process has two stages, with no interview involved.
- Written Test (Objective type, Multiple Choice Questions; no negative marking)
- Trade Test (100 marks; minimum 40 marks required to qualify) for candidates shortlisted in the written test

The written test carries 100 marks and is of 90 minutes duration, as detailed below.

DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed on probation for 2 years and paid as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, along with dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance, children education allowance, leave travel concession, medical facilities, CSD facilities, and other allowances as per extant government rules. Recruited candidates will be covered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS)/Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).
